Collinsville Power Station


Asset Overview

Collinsville Power Station operates as an intermediate plant, and is fuelled by locally mined coal and it has a total output of 180 MW. It has four 30 MW and one 60 MW generator units, which were completely refurbished in 1998 through a joint venture with Transfield Collinsville Pty Limited and NRGenerating Holdings.

It is independently estimated that Collinsville has a potential remaining technical life of 24 years based on the refurbished plant design life of 30 years.

Ownership

Collinsville Power Station is located 4km West of Collinsville, Queensland. It is wholly owned by Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund.
